Renee Dickinson

BSc (Hons), PGDip, MDIP

Hello, my name is Renee Dickinson and this is my website, thank you for visiting.

Before training in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, my career has been and continues to be within the public services, working within the NHS alongside patient groups and service users and as an analyst for the police and Local Authorities.

I have worked with people of many ages, backgrounds and lifestyles. Some have come to me in distress, following difficult experiences and some have come to explore where they are in their lives and where they might like to be.

Alongside my therapeutic work with individuals I support local charities through delivery of Trauma Informed Practice training and facilitation of reflective spaces for frontline teams.

Following on from my initial Degree in Psychology, I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counselling, a Management Diploma and I continue my development with regular professional training in areas such as health coaching, trauma therapy (including EMDR) and working with couples.

I am BACP accredited (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to their robust ethical framework.
